A Beautiful NEW low country style home & deep water dock/floater (9' at lowtide) w/freshwater wash down/lights on the Morgan River at Eddings Creek Point. ICW is 2 minutes from dock/direct ocean access /DATAW Marina 1mile west.

Activities on or near site:

    • Hiking - Great hiking right behind the house. Wear shoes or boots.
    • Golf - Plenty of public courses nearby. Hilton Head Island, Seabrook, Kiawah Island and throughout Beaufort.
    • Fishing - There are 2-3 shrimp docks nearby for fresh "right off the boat" shrimp & fish or you can catch them in your cast net right off the dock. World class inshore and off shore fishing literally right off the dock, no obstructions to the open Atlantic. Trout & redfish are plentiful or crab with our crab trap off the dock!
    • Wildlife Viewing - Ospreys, cranes, egrets, pelicans lots of porpoises and even an occasional whale!
    • Shopping & Sightseeing - Beaufort is an antebellum jewell. 10-15 minutes by boat or car. Lots of history on St. Helena Island too!. Hunting Island is 10-15 minutes by car, a highly rated wilderness beach park.
    • Restaurants
    • Museums
    • Swimming - right off the dock! (mind the tides) or the "sand bar" a local favorite gathering place directly accross the river from our dock. Summer water temperatures 85° - 90°
    • Boating - Ocean deepwater retreat at Edding's Point is designed for guests bringing their own boats (center console, large power or sail). We have 8-9 ' at low tide at our floater and public launching ramps 1 mile from the house as well as a mooring ball in the river off our dock. Marine services and fuel is available at Dataw Marina 1 mile west.

    Bring your own sail boat, wind surfer, jet skis or fishing boats & keep them moored at the dock. We've got Kayaks on site for your use too
